News and Events - 2010

• The new Headteacher has been appointed and is Mrs Jeannie Haigh who is currently the Headteacher of Seely Junior School in Nottingham. She will be visiting the school regularly over the next few weeks to begin preparing for taking over on September 1st. The current Headteacher, David Allen, is retiring after being Head for 22 years.
   

• Year 5 and 6 children are taking part in a scheme to train them to ride their bicycles safely. The Bikeability scheme is being sponsored by our local sports partnership.
   

• Year 3 and 4 children are having an 'Amazonian Adventure' as part of their Creative Curriculum Topic on Jungle Animals.
   

• Mr Irving and Mrs Biddles classes are producing their Class Assemblies on May 19th and 26th at 9.10am. All parents are welcome.
   

• On Wednesday June 9th Tempest photographers are taking a photograph of the whole school as a souvenir of Mr Allen's retirement.
   

• On July 8th the Key Stage 1 children are visiting Twycross Zoo.
